Bio
A native Angeleno and 3rd generation artist, Jaquita is a graduate of NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts (BFA, Theater and Dramatic Writing). While training at Tisch’s Experimental Theater Wing, she also studied spoken word performance at Johannesburg’s University of Witwatersrand and modern, folkloric, and experimental dance in Havana, Cuba. Post-college, Jaquita ventured into music as 1/2 of the Afro-diasporic Hip Hop duo Nola Darling, appearing on the same bill with artists like J. Cole, B.O.B. and Mavado.
As a DJ under the moniker “Eartha Littt”, she’s spun at venues like The Beverly Wilshire Hotel, The Montalbán, The Craft Contemporary Museum, Space 1520, and Los Globos.
